Poker As Social Interaction
Nowadays, people have become less and less social, and they become what they are not. With all the technology around, I see that there are less people, and real interaction between people. People seem more interested in communicating through Facebook, Twitter, etc., instead of coffee and talk about how each day. Well, maybe it could be a hobby that does not need a computer or the Internet to bring people to get real interaction.
Playing poker at home just perfect, with a folding poker table, everyone could stop Party Poker, without worrying about space. It can be folded and stored easily. In fact, when we have the media or tools that will help us to maintain the interaction without the PC and the Internet is necessary, which may be large. It is good to follow the updated technology, but when it does we just do not man, is something very wrong going on.
Perhaps you will now hear a lot about the game as: Farmville, mafia wars, etc., where people can go online and play with all those who may not even know them. This is more to reduce the distance and time, but again, it becomes threatening when we have more virtual friends, those friends. Ludicrous, but it’s really true. You can start by asking your son / daughter, as many friends, he / she has on Facebook or Twitter, and then ask them about their friends at school. How much that he / she is closed for? Well, perhaps it would be surprising to hear the answers to these questions with your own children.
But again, this does not mean that I did not agree with this technology development. This technology should help us all, not make us no longer human. So use technology wisely. Put a balance between the network and the Internet. Using the media as a folding table poker, cards, chess, etc. communicate with friends and relatives.
